This joy-filled film, which was premiered in July at QUAD during the Reimagine Festival, showcases creative work from young people from Derby as part of 2022's Reimagine project.

From April - July 2022, we have been delighted to work collaboratively with Hubbub Theatre Company, QUAD, Sam Jordan Films and young people and staff from St Martins School, St Giles School, St Clare's School, St Andrew's Academy, Ivy House School, Bennerley Fields School, and Royal School for the Deaf Derby to create new music, art and movement inspired by bringing colour to Derby.

After performing at the Reach centre, one participant said:

“It is fun to see everyone from different schools, today made me feel proud and supported”

An audience member said the event was:

“Inclusive, interactive, musical and engaging”

Following a theme of Colour, a combination of movement, music and artwork has been brought together by Sam Jordan Films into this beautiful montage film. The footage was taken during school workshops throughout the project and at a culmination performance day that took place at the Reach Centre in Derby in June 2022!

"The opportunities you create for non-professional musicians in all aspects of the community and the integrity with which the work is set up and delivered is second to none, and I am very grateful to have opportunities to be part of that."
Jack Ross, Music Leader

“The level of confidence my class have gained from start to finish is incredible! Seeing them perform in front of a room full of people was absolutely amazing!” St Martins School teacher
