Introducing our orchestra

Sinfonia Viva is the Orchestra of the East Midlands.

We want to unite and inspire people through our performances.

This year you can hear us play music by Mozart, Beethoven, Holst, Richard Strauss and many more. We'll be visited by  guest artists with international reputations, including soprano Nadine Benjamin and conductor Natalie Murray Beale.

Concerts in Derby Enjoy a new five concert series kicking off with Holst's The Planets on Wednesday 18 October 2023.

Concerts in Nottingham Our season at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall includes Sunday afternoon music and our legendary New Year's Eve Gala.

Family events Orchestral music designed for families to enjoy, including the Darley Park Concert and the under 7s show, Wait... What?!!

We also have an exciting programme of creative projects bringing music to schools, care homes and many other venues across the country.
