Support Sinfonia Viva
Sinfonia Viva relies on the generous support of individuals to ensure we can keep making music with and for the next generation of musicians, participants and audiences.
Sinfonia Viva is the Orchestra of the East Midlands, with a vision for every community to be inspired by music. As the only professional orchestra in the region, we play a key role in bringing high quality professional cultural experiences to communities who would otherwise miss out.
“The children were in awe. There’s something about an orchestra live that captivates. It created a real sense of belonging and unity.”

How your support helps
In the last year, we’ve performed for 11,818 people across the East Midlands region. 4,064 people have taken part in our creative projects, including 2,738 children and young people.
243 individual creative learning sessions have been with people from lower income backgrounds, disabled children and young people, people living with dementia and their carers, unaccompanied young refugees and asylum seekers, and adult and young carers.
Your support will help us continue and expand this work, making a difference today and tomorrow.
“It’s just so lovely to sit and let the music wash over you, and forget about everything’s that’s going on.”

“It was a much needed shot in the arm for Derby City Centre. Good to see so many people enjoying the music together.”
“I’m not really into classical music but I absolutely loved it! The ambience was fab, the music divine and I loved watching the musicians’ faces as they played.”
