Our 2025-26 concert season in the East Midlands

Live orchestral music for each of the four seasons

Experience the finest classical music live with our upcoming season in Derby and Nottingham.

This year we have a thrilling world first as our Patrons Sheku, Isata and Braimah Kanneh-Mason perform Beethoven’s ‘Triple Concerto’ with us before they head off on a big US tour.

We have some all-time favourites for you, including Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending in beautiful Derby Cathedral. Or for something more intimate, join us at Derby’s Museum of Making for our afternoon chamber sessions with beautiful music across three concerts for violin and piano, French horn, flute and harp.

Want to bring friends or family but don’t know where to start? Try our new style Introduces… concert – a one-hour tour of Beethoven’s music with insights from musicians and conductor Karen Ní Bhroin.

Or for something you might not have heard before, try our concert featuring music by Imogen Holst and her father Gustav Holst, courtesy of an ABO Trust grant to support the promotion of music by historical women composers. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy world-class performances right in your backyard.
