Join us at Melodic Moments, a relaxed and uplifting live music event at the Museum of Making in Derby. Performed by the exceptional musicians of Sinfonia Viva and hosted by Caroline Welsh, this special afternoon concert invites you to experience the ensemble as you may never have heard them before – up close, surrounded by sound, and immersed in music that celebrates the simple act of finding joy.

Whether it’s through beloved places, shared experiences, or moments in nature, Melodic Moments explores how joy can be discovered in many forms. Immerse yourself in the sound, as the music fills the space and lifts your spirits in a welcoming and informal setting designed with inclusivity at its heart.

These concerts are especially supportive for people living with dementia, their carers, and anyone who may find traditional concert environments challenging. The atmosphere is calm, comfortable, and friendly – ideal for those looking to enjoy live music without pressure or formality.

After the performance, stay for tea and cake (included in your ticket) and connect with others, or take a self-guided tour through the Museum of Making.
