Join us for Melodic Moments at Derby’s Museum of Making—a warm and welcoming afternoon performance by Sinfonia Viva.

Melodic Moments is more than just a concert; it’s a joyful gathering where you can connect with others, share smiles, and create special memories. This time, immerse yourself in the traditional dance music played on flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn, including a delightful mix of charming French melodies and toe-tapping Mississippi Delta rhythms.

After the performance, enjoy tea and cake (included in the ticket price) with new and old friends alike or explore the Museum of Making on a self-guided tour.

The concert is presented by Caroline Welsh, and is perfect for everyone, especially for those living with dementia and their carers, or people with additional needs.

We look forward to welcoming you to an afternoon filled with beautiful music and shared moments. Melodic Moments will be at the Museum of Making every two months, so if you enjoy this first one, we’ll be doing it all again in December.

Tickets | £9.50 each, up to 1 carer may attend for free with each full price ticket.
