Eczema can be a real drag right? In fact, it can be more than a drag. It can be like a dragon in your skin!

And it’s not easy to talk about this dragon, or to get people to really understand what it’s like to live with this fiery fiend. But what if there was a different way of talking about the dragon? What if you could write a song and sing about it? Getting creative and making music in a safe group environment?

Join Sinfonia Viva, writer Hazel Gould and songwriter Abimaro Gunnell for a series of online music workshops for children with Eczema and their families.

We want to work with you as part of a group of people living with Eczema. Together we will create a brand new song to compliment a new book written by Hazel Gould and illustrated by Jay Nolan-Latchford called ‘The Dragon in my Skin.’  After we’ve written the song together, the orchestra from Sinfonia Viva will record the music and you will be invited to submit recordings of you singing to create the final song.

Your brand new song, the story and the visuals will all be put together to create a short film which will be shared with schools, to help raise awareness around living with the dragon.

We need to start talking about Eczema. So let’s start the conversation with an amazing new song, written and performed by you!
